What a waste. Kids dont do drugs. They took everything away from Steven Adler. He lost his dream job as drummer for at the time the best rock band in the world. Now he looks and acts like the bum on the corner .

It’s sad that a person who played drums on one of the most recognizable hard rock albums ever ended up in misery.

Interesting comment; extremely judgmental, and not particularly well-thought out. From what I know about Steven, he’s a millionaire musician who has royalties, opportunities and money consistently rolling in – not to mention the undying love of millions of loyal, hard-core fans. He’s also got a new book coming out from Harper-Colins, with a national media junket as part of it. AND he still plays great (I’ve heard him messing around it the studio, he’s still got it). Misery? Really? Are you sure?

Another “interesting” comment – and the name calling was a real nice touch. Regardless, I’d be curious to know something/anything of any value this person has done or does, or what makes their definition of success or misery worthy of anyone’s attention, or how/why they feel entitled to pass judgment on a truly great rock drummer (then & now). In my experience, it’s haters like this who really hate themselves more than anyone – usually because they’ve done zero with their lives.

@imdacoolio his pupils are VERY small or pinned…. which would indicated the use of painkillers or opiates… such as heroin, morphine, or oxycontin! His eyes are also chinked…..

@snowflakett how do you know he isnt….. his pupils would say otherwise… or maybe you were with steven that day for the entire day and didnt see him use… in that case i apologise…

Oh My God that’s so sweet, even when he’s got his ass kicked out of GN’R he’s wearing a GN’R shirt and proudly is showing his tattoo of Guns N ‘Roses, I think it is the only former member of the band who does this, I love this guy I hope everything to work out very well for him, I would love to see him working with Slash and Duff at something, and of course seeing all the old GN’R back again, real GN’R, not this actual shit

When he was in the Gn’R he was amazing!!!! I think he’s one of the most talented drummer and very hard-working. Everyone in the band liked him, and the crowds loved him, and everyone was sad when he was fired from the band. But I have a question: Why?? Why did it to himself???? He was blessed and he just destroyed everything because of what??? DRUGS!!!!!! It’s awful!

@rnrchef Stephen doesn’t see any of his royalties – after he won his lawsuit against GNR, his mother gained control of his assets after his stroke. He even lived with her in Las Vegas for a time.

@rnrchef His nickname Popcorn is because Steven told Axl,,” I love 3 p’s – Pot, Pussy, & Percussion” backstage one time.

I met him last week after a show and he’s such a cool person.
